April 1st 2002, Day Watch:

Woodridge police responded to a complaint of a set of truck tires crashing into an office window.

It appears a flatbed ocean container trailer traveling at high speed northbound on I-55 at Lemont Road shed the rear set of tandem wheels.

The wheels traveled across the exit ramp, across a water retention depression, through a chain link fence, across south Frontage road, and finally crashed into an executive's office at the Hendrickson building.

As luck would have it the employee was on vacation.
